Summary | 0010034: Status screen improvements
Description | The status screen currently shows: 1) Initially: Internal Storage Uploaded 0 tracks Analysing Delete Download 2) And then --> Internal Storage Uploaded 0 tracks [Deleting 0 tracks] Highlighted Downloading It should instead: 1a) Show 'Analysing' as the first entry (rather than after 'Uploaded 0 tracks') OR if the current implementation is based on the sequence in which the events must occur, then 'Uploaded 0 tracks' shouldn't display if there are no tracks to upload. 1b) Not show 'Delete' and 'Download', since the actions may not necessarily even occur. 2a) 'Deleting' gets highlighted even when there are no tracks to delete. It shouldn't appear if there aren't any tracks to delete. Same goes for 'Downloading'. 3) I would suggest that the header should change as follows: 'Internal Storage' ---> Sync status: 'Internal Storage' 4) Upon completion of an operation, the multiple grey headers that appear on top of one another look rather strange (it's fine up until that point, since the headers are actually headers for something). I would suggest that either: a) We retain the current header, if there's a means of expanding them to display what tracks were involved in the operation. OR b) The headers (other than 'Sync status: Internal Storage') disappear and be replaced by regular text: Uploaded: 0 tracks Deleted: 0 tracks Downloaded: 20 tracks

5) In addition, the status indicator currently shows status of sync locations that aren't even active. i.e. If the device is only configured to sync the external memory card (and not the internal memory), then the status screen still shows status for both internal and external memory! |

Fixed in build 94 I implemented everything but 3. Do you think that it is a good idea to use so long title...and multiple times for each storage? We can replace the activity title: Synchronization -----> Sync status |

Setting as 'Resolved'--will review build 94. |

Verified 114, clear, informative, and functional. Only Thing I would Add is close timer (Configurable). It is annoying that on each quick sync window just waits for user input. Other than that This can be closed from my point. |

Resolving, further improvements to be discussed separately. |
