Summary | 0010092: MMW Crashes when deleting Device Profile
Description | This is tested with Nexus 7 and thus steps are described using that device, but should be same with any other device. Here are steps to replicate issue: 1. Delete all Nexus 7 profiles from MMW 2. In MMA Option Select MMW Sync Server 3. Accept Remote Access in MMW 4. Connect Nexus 7 over USB 5. Profile Name will change From "Google Nexus 7 - Internal Storage" -> "Nexus 7" (I know it is by design when fixing bug with using same profile for USB and Wi-Fi but I still think it is a bug that on first USB Connection if Wi-Fi profile exist USB can't import its settings eg. Remote access allowance and name which is more accurate than just Nexus 7) 6. Click on Nexus 7 in MMW tree to Setup Profile 7. Use tools -> Options -> Devices and Delete Nexus 7 profile 8. Press OK MMW Should Crash

Peke, I cannot replicate, because if a device is connected via USB then its profile cannot be deleted until it is unplugged. 1. I connected my Galaxy Nexus via USB 2. Tools->Options->Portable/Audio Devies => the [Delete] button is greyed out (disabled)! 3. Unplugged the device => the button gets enabled So I don't understand how you could delete it while it was connected? |
|
I used Right click On Device -> Remove Device |
