Summary | 0010385: 1511 Add/Rescan wrongly reports exclusions as errors
Description | 1) With Option "[x] Ignore files shorter than 20 Kb" (the default), Add/Rescan some track files shorter than than 20 Kb. Expected: no errors. Observed: Error dialog reporting that there was a problem with the excluded files: http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/4792/betachriswindowedbetare.png Workaround: Check that no genuine errors are included, then click OK. This with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit using Windows Classic theme. (TC) Reported at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69418

MMW should not show presented error dialog with only Too short files, but should show them dialog if there is other errors. 1. To make things easier I think we should consider to group errors in Tree so that user can easily check/see what errors happen and thab on [+] see exact details I'm suggesting this due the fact that in large scans/monitors/rip multiple errors can occur and scrolling thrum 10k tracks can be annoying. 2. Another approach would be to make tabs like in Locate moved/missing dialog |
