Rating/Lyrics sync fine in my case over USB. i.e. they are visible in MMA library. Or do you think that they are not visible in other apps on Android? Rating/Lyrics are uploaded as modified MMA db and MMA gets them from there. I guess you are syncing using MTP? Could you upload MMW log of the failed Rating/Lyrics sync? |
They're synced over USB (MTP) from MMW and MMA doesn't see these tags. Debug log (3 tracks, Send To > Device) on FTP. |
I see in the log that \MediaMonkey\files\mmstore.db.synced was successfuly uploaded to the device for MMA to process. Could you verify that MMA processed the DB by watching that the file \MediaMonkey\files\mmstore.db.synced no longer exists on the device? Use a file explorer directly in android otherwise the content seen over MTP might not be the real content on the device. If yes, please do the following: - ensure that MMA is closed - sync one FLAC with rating/lyrics - after the sync you will find file \MediaMonkey\files\mmstore.db.synced on the device, attach the file to our FTP |
Files no show Lyrics, Rating and Release Date. All I did was restart device, sync single file as requested and now that file and previously synced files show all the tags as expected. I'm wondering if sync failures caused the problems I saw and that the restart fixed this problem for me. |
It means that MMA processed the \MediaMonkey\files\mmstore.db.synced after the device restart. It is strange that it has not been processed immediatelly after the sync. |
Could it be that sync failures caused this? I've been syncing video files prior to this and those syncs often ended in failure. In any case this means I can't reproduce what forum users have reported. I've asked them for more information. |
Which failures did you get? Did you sync over WiFi or USB? Do you have a log? BTW: it is not clear that the user musicfan86 uses MMW 4.1, because MM 4.0.7 cannot sync Rating/Lyrics. Asking via the forum link. |

It was a USB sync of MPEG2 to MP4 video files. No log unfortunately, but will test again if I have some time. |
