Summary | 0011128: Wifi Sync: Audiobooks sync phantom entries (syncs are to Music collection)
Description | When syncing over Wi-Fi with build 1652, audiobook entries are created on the device, but the individual audiobook files don't appear. Tested: MMA 155 vs 1652: bug occurs MMA 152 vs 1652: bug occurs MMA 152 vs 1651: bug occurs note: - when testing 152 vs 1651, after synching and initially clicking an Audiobook entry, the individual files in the audiobook initially displayed and then disappeared as I watched! - the bug doesn't occur via USB Sync - the bug doesn't occur when syncing only the audiobook subset of the sync list

Note: ludek confirmed that the bug is a regression in MMA and that it occurs because the Audiobooks are changed from Audiobooks to 'Music' (i.e. the tracks are accessible via Music nodes). Also, to help track down the problem: If a brand-new auto-sync is initiated, the bug will occur. But if just the audiobooks are being synced (i.e. a small subset of the sync list), it usually works. |

It always fails for me too, the audiobook tracks are classified as Music in MMA although MMW corretly serves the <MM_TrackType> element for them |
