Summary | 0011275: WiFi Sync: Tag changes (rating/playcount) are posted after building sync-list
Description | As reported here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=73667 currently tag changes (rating/playcount) are posted after building sync-list, they should be posted at the beginning so that sync-list is up-to-date, examples in the forum link. This regression was introduced while MMA added playlist confirmation dialogs.
Steps To Reproduce | I am using MMW to sync unplayed podcast episodes to MMA. Currently if I play an episode in MMA then sync, the file is marked as played in MMW but is left on the sync list as if it is still unplayed. I then have to run another sync to have that episode deleted and the next episode copied to the device. I have also noticed that the same problem occurs with AutoPlaylists that use 'play count' or 'last played' as part of the criteria. The net result of this is that every time I want to sync my device I have to run the sync process twice. Could the sync process be changed slightly so that the sync list isn't created until after metadata is updated?

Verified 166, for tracks that are on the auto-sync list, and then removed because of a change in MMA. BUT if tracks aren't on the auto-sync list to begin with, changes that should add them to the sync list don't have the intended effect. e.g. 1 Create an autoplaylist of 5 star tracks, and add to the auto-sync list 2 Auto-sync 3 In MMA download TrackA, TrackB via UPnP 4 In MMA set the rating of TrackA to 5 stars 5 Auto-sync -->User is prompted to delete both tracks The user would have expected that the track is added to the auto-sync list. Not sure if this is fixable... |
|
Fixed on MMA side, track is now uploaded with 5 stars rating to MMW but still is not added to autoplaylist in same sync. |
