Summary | 0011535: Defaults: LG Smart 2011+ TVs Support MKV by default
Description | LG 42LW5500, 42LA620S, 42LA660S, 42LA860V support MKV over DLNA but not by default, it should be added for LG as default. NOTE: All TVs were previously updated to latest firmware.

I personally tested all of them today. |

The problem is that although user can customize auto-conversion rules per client basic in MM 4.1, we don't have any hardcoded DLNA profiles for auto-conversion per client type/vendor and probably based on amount of various DLNA clients we could hardly keep them up to date. Therefore I think that it make sense to add MKV as supported by default for all DLNA clients (global settings), because MKV is supported by most of smart TVs and is quite widely supported format today. |
