Summary | 0011588: Auto-converted tracks resync on every usb sync
Description | 1 WiFi Sync of MMA that had tracks synced via MMW but had a deleted database --> most tracks pair, though some don't and are (re) downloaded 2 USB sync --> prompt to sync 6 playlists from MMA to MMW! (strange considering that sync was just carried out) --> 28 tracks (all auto-converted) sync 3 USB sync (again) --> 27 tracks (all auto-converted) sync

I can no longer replicate this problem. It seems to be related to 0011552:0038710 . i.e. the same issue that caused some playlist content to get deleted also caused this strange behavior re. repetitive syncs of converted content. Ludek indicated that this might be caused by duplicate content being synced to the device (I had performed a sync operation using builds MMA 189/MMW 1980 which due to the faulty pairing process synced duplicate content to the device). Reducing priority to urgent. |

I saw the log (FTP/MMA/bugs/11589) and it really looks like a consequence of the faulty pairing process in MMW 1680 / MMA 198 MMW thought that the 29 tracks are no longer on the device, lines like: \Music\Depeche Mode\Music for the Masses\01 Never Let Me Down Again.mp3 no longer exists on the device etc. Resolving... |
