Summary | 0011606: Wifi sync keeps creating new Device Profiles
Description | Syncing tends to end up with a duplicated internal (is SD card to which wifi sync will take place) device profile and new Windows Media compatible device profiles. Several failed sync attempts resulted in many of the latter. Device Blu DASH 4.1 Android 4.0.4 MMA .202 MMW .1681 MMW log on FTP
Steps To Reproduce | Interesting clue, device often mentions that SD card is ready to unmount.

From the MMW log I saw that the device couldn't be matched based on the identifier MSM8225QRD5.0.f93296b5-6616-4215-9a62-889cf4842804 But I can confirm (based on the log) that another profile for the "BLU BLU DASH 4.0" device with another identifier already exists and was created over WiFi, so it looks that for that device MMA somehow missed or lost StorageInfo.xml file where the identifier is stored permanently and generated new one? Maybe it is realted to 0011661 that was fixed in 213 ? Could you try whether it is reproducable with MMA 213 ? |

Unable to replicate with newer builds of MMA/MMW |
