Summary0011803: Sync failures causes Playlists on device not to be synced properly
DescriptionWhen during wifi sync some files fail to sync the Playlist(s) on the device don't get updated/synced correctly. Playlists in MMA itself are unaffected.
Steps To ReproduceOX15PGC2BR

A few files failed to sync. This resulted in the Radio (new this sync) Playlist to show empty in stock player (MMA it shows correctly). The existing (before this sync) Car Playlist seems to show correctly in stock player.

fyi, a user also reported this issue, but I wasn't able to replicate the problem:

Well the log was not long enough to see the error during sync and I don't know why MediaStore version of playlist was empty. Maybe creation of m3u files failed or wasn't done.

There was one specific situation when playlists are just paired and not synced. They will be synced during next sync but there won't be next sync till something in MediaStore is changed. So I have fixed this in build 224. Now playlists will be synced. Please send me new log in case it will occur again.

Could you please check the m3u files? Are they empty?

LL, can you provide some info about what that log is that you posted?

LL, I saw you sent a log (7FCW687GOQ). But there is no wifi sync. I can see that Goodnight.m3u was empty in MediaStore and was updated from MMA and should contain all tracks now.

But could you check /storage/sdcard0/Playlists/Goodnight.m3u ? Is it empty? I mean open it by some text editor and check it manually.

Or could you try wifi sync again and check the synced m3u files whether they contain the list of files?

Strange, I guess Android was slow to update as all Playlists now show with correct track count in stock Player. I guess I may have to wait longer to check.
