Summary | 0011935: Sync Profile: Accessible tracks should be ignored in some cases
Description | Sync profile All playlist also checks Accessible Tracks which ca cause for unwanted track syncs and possible making of sync list is larger than device free space, in order to limit this we should implement that: a) If user have more playlists than default created and track sync size is larger than Device free space than Accessible tracks should be ignored and MMW should sync tracks from all other playlists b) When selecting ALL playlists for sync Accessible tracks should not be selected by default

'Accessible Tracks' is playlist like any other so I don't think it is a good idea to do an exception for this playlist. Unless we want to modify the defaults and remove 'Accessible Tracks' from the default auto-playlists? |

I agree; special-casing 'accessible tracks' would just lead to other usability issues. Another alternative that could work would be to delete that playlist and instead either create an Accessible tracks Collection (would this slow down the library?) OR modify existing Collections (except for Entire Library) to only include Accessible tracks (I suspect this would have both performance and usability issues?). Thoughts? |

You are right Ludek, what about making exceptions or more like default Exclude list? Selecting "All" playlist by default for any new profile is useful but sort of Exclude list would be useful too which will allow users to exclude playlists from Sync profiles by default but have them in UPnP. This is especially helpful for users with lots of playlists. |
