Description | There are several reports that Sony Z1 Phone is not recognizes any more via USB Connection after Updating to Android 4.4.2 It is not recognized in Windows Media Player as well, but user from ticket HTI-930-39898 indicated that he can access it in Windows Explorer (both internal and external memory) and I can also access it in MEDIA GO (Sony's media player/sync). | ||||

The issue is that IWMDeviceManager2::EnumDevices2 method doesn't enumerate the device ( http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ff801384(v=vs.85).aspx ) for some reason |

User found a solution here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=76320&p=390692#p390741 Steps: * Unlock your phone * Plug the phone via USB, MTP enabled * Open Windows Device Manager window * Look for your phone * Right click on your phone and click uninstall * Wait for a few seconds * Remove USB cable * Unlock your phone * Plug the phone again with USB cable * Wait for Windows to re-install the driver * Open Mediamonkey |
