Summary | 0012134: Wifi sync fails on MMA when syncing large auto-converted movie files
Description | MMA consistently shows a failed to convert message somewhere during syncing when syncing some movies that require auto-conversion. The sync wasn't finished (many music files are missing something the failed to convert message fails to convey) and MMW is still running auto-conversion on the files. I don't know if it's a timeout issue or a temporary wifi drop-out issue (phone is next to router), but it seems from MMW that sync is still running when MMA hangs with failed to convert message.
Steps To Reproduce | Several debug logs from me from MMA have been submitted (another one today). MMW log is on FTP

I can see in the log that Toy Story - 1995.mp4 was downloading. It was downloading for 4 minutes and then network unreachable error occurs. Wifi was disconnected. MMA tried to reconnect but was not successfull. So it terminated the sync as failed. I don't know how it is possible when the router is close. I am not able to do anything with it on MMA side. I have only one idea. MMA has to hold Wifi lock so wifi is not going to sleep mode during sync. So I have added one log message to determine whether the wifi lock is held when it crashes. Could you please retry it with build 305 and resend log after unsuccessful sync? |
