I didn't receive any feedback and he is using some OTG helper. I don't know how it works and if it is even accessible for other apps. |

USB OTG is supported natively on Samsung Galaxy devices (i.e. users can just connect a USB OTG cable and plug in a USB drive, and it is seen by the OS), so it's possible to verify this issue with these devices. Unfortunately, although MMA sees the drive's content in /Folders/Files/storage/USBDriveA , i) the content does not appear in Folders/Library (despite having been set as a media location to scan). See debug log OBTJALO3FC ii) on attempts to play the content via /Folders/Files, video content doesn't play properly--audio plays, but video doesn't appear (even though the same content does play in MMA via the SD card, or if initiated in MMA via ES Explorer from the USB key!). |

i) yes, I can replicate it with SGS4. But it is caused by MediaStore scanner. It doesn't scan USB storages so we have no option how to get these media files to our DB. This will be resolved by our own scanner. ii) assigning to Martin. It doesn't work for any video played from /Folder/Files. It is not related to USB OTG devices only. |

Verified in build 363. Scanning of USB OTG storage locations is tracked at 0011794 . |
