| Description | If the user is controlling playback via the native Android Lock Screen player, the controls/display can become unreliable. This can generally be reproduced as follows: 1 Play an album consisting of 5 tracks in MMA 2 Press power to activate the lock screen 3 Press power again 4 Press Next to advance to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th track --> each of the tracks play as expected 5 Press Next to advance to the fifth track --> The fifth track starts playing but the metadata for the 4th track displays At this point, if the user uses the Back/Next controls to navigate the playlist 6 Repeat steps 4/5 , the metadata displayed is continuously mistaken (off by a track). Also, I'm not sure if this is the same bug, but I think it is: playback sometimes stops once this state is entered--I assume that it's because MMA thinks that the last track has played even though it hasn't. | ||||

I can't replicate. Please send your logs, when it occurs and please describe, which song is displayed and which song is playing simultaneously. |

Played Tracks from U2 - The Joshua Tree Tracklist: 1 Where the Streets have no name 2 I still haven't found what I'm looking for 3 With or without you 4 Bullet the blue sky 5 Running to stand still 6 In Gods country 7 Trip through your wires 8 Mothers of the disappeared Repro Steps ----------- 1 Play track 1 2 Press Power 2x 3 Press Next / Back numerous times randomly, but taking care not to advance to 'Mothers of the disappeared' --> Metadata matches the playing track on the Android Lock Screen (Kitkat 4.4) 4 Press Next to advance to 'Mothers of the disappeared' 5 Press back --> Lock Screen shows 'Mothers of the disappeared' but plays 'Trip through your wires' Once this occurs, pressing 'back' to play other tracks results in Metadata continually being off by 1 track. Debug log id: 49SJ4GP9CI Note: I think that this is related to a bug that occurs very often when clicking 'Next' or 'Back' on the Android Lock Screen; the metadata for the currently playing track flashes briefly. i.e. 1 Play track 1 2 Click Next (on the android lock screen) --> Metadata for track 1 disappears --> Metadata for track 1 appears as track 2 starts playing --> Metadata for track 1 disappears and metadata for track 2 appears |

This is mostly fixed in 344. I say 'mostly' because: -on some occasions, when skipping to track c, sometimes track B will flash before track C plays -bug 0012393 results in crashes in MM that cause the Android lock screen player to shut down. Will retest when 0012393 is fixed. |

0012393 is fixed in build 345. I can't replicate this issue in same way as you. I had similar issue with BT device, but lockscreen player works correctly on my devices. I have created new test build 345 to ftp(MMA/bugs/bug12379) where are prefixes before titles. Please test it with renamed tracks. For example if you will test tracks A, B, C, D, rename these tracks from MMA to xA, xB, xC, xD, than test it. Let me know, which track flashed and how it looks like, whether it has prefix and is renamed or has original name like "B". Thanks |

Played Same tracks as before: 1 Where the Streets have no name 2 I still haven't found what I'm looking for 3 With or without you 4 Bullet the blue sky 5 Running to stand still On the lock screen, clicked: -Next from Track 1 to Track 2 --> bug occurred (track 1 flashed before track 2 appeared) -Next from Track 2 to Track 3 --> bug occurred (track 1 flashed before track 2 appeared) -Next from Track 3 to Track 4 --> bug occurred (track 1 flashed before track 2 appeared) -Next from Track 4 to Track 5 --> bug didn't occur All tracks were preceded by 'RC' on the lock screen.
