Fixed in build 345, but maybe there should be another changes: "Artists/albums" - in this view should appear only albums contain at least one track from this Artist, but albums, which have it as "Album artist" only should be hidden "Album Artists/albums" - should display only albums with "Album artist" "Artists & Album Artists/albums" - both Is this correct? |

Tested 345, and found a number of anomalies: 1) Artists node: Should contain tracks where the Artists field=X, and when clicking X, should contain the subset of those albums for which Artist=X. As you pointed out, currently some Albums appear in this node when they shouldn't (test note: Chuck Berry "Sweet Little Sixteen" appears in Artist=Various Artists probably because another track on that album has Artist=Various Artists) 2) Album Artists node: should only display tracks where the Album Artist field=X, and when clicking X, should contain only the subset of those albums for which Album Artist = X. As you pointed out, currently, this node also contains Albums for which Album Artist="" but Artist=X (test note: example New Order 'Round and Round' from Retro:Pop 3) Correct--I believe that this is already working correctly. Isn't it? |

1) Verified 347. However, albums that legitimately appear as by an Artist, also contain tracks that aren't by Artist=x. BUT, it's debatable as to what the correct approach should be for the Album to display only those tracks for Artist=x or the full album. 2) Verified. 3) Verified. |
