Summary | 0012584: Lollipop: by default there's no play controls for MMA
Description | On Lollipop (5.0.2 - tested on Nexus 7) it seems that the default player control on the lock screen doesn't display (the controls that work for all media apps). Most likely this is because this is configured via Options > Sound and Notifications settings. Is it possible to have MMA get permissions to display its app notifications at install time (so that if the OS is set to 'Hide sensitive notification content' that MMA's data isn't considered as 'sensitive')?

From Marek: This is caused by new Lollipop lockscreen widgets. Functionality from KK is deprecated. So it has to be reimplemented. There is system media playback widget that should be used instead.... |

fyi, it would be useful to include Seek bar status on the lock screen. See an example from HTC devices here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=79295 |
