| Description | There was a bug which I thought had recently been fixed in which MMA couldn't be installed to kindle devices. I can't find the bug, but I believe that it was in relation to an update to the manifest. In any case, a user reported a similar bug at ticket ZLD-856-28859 in which MMA Pro (1.1.008) is listed as incompatible with the Kindle HDX7. Any idea what is required to fix this? Are similar fixes required for other products sold on Amazon? i.e. -MMA -MMA Ringtone Maker | ||||

I don't know why it is incompatible, because https://developer.amazon.com/public/resources/development-tools/app-testing-service/dashboard.html is successfull. But I think it is because build 0008 was created from android studio and there was not specified Amazon Grandle plugin. So I have created new build 0009 and I hope it help. The Ringtone Maker incompatibility is alright, because it uses RingtoneManager and we were warned about it in compatibility test (We moved all uses of RingtoneManager to this addon from main app). Why are incompatible others, I don't know. Let focus on Pro version, which is much simpler. 1) Was really compatible version 1.1.6 ? 2) I have made new build 0010, which has increased minSdkVersion to 10, please try compatibility for this build. |

1) I don't believe any version was ever compatible, but I'm not sure. The results for 'Live app testing' may not be identical to those for the released application. 2) I've uploaded this for Live app testing. We'll see what happens. |

As described at http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/156 this is an issue with the Amazon store. Deferring possible workarounds. |

A number of Fire devices were not compatible with Version 1.1.0009 of MediaMonkey Pro posted to the Amazon App store. |

Martin created a new build 1.3.0014 of MediaMonkey Pro to resolve this. Note that this build does not include the anti-pirate changes that were introduced into MediaMonkey Pro 1.2 (targetted specifically at the Google Play store). |
