Summary | 0012945: Clean install: no content in library (regression 497)
Description | In build 498 (and 497 as well), a clean install fails to display content that is on the SD Card or internal memory, despite the fact that: - permissions have been set correctly - the choose library folders has the proper default configuration (i.e. /Music is enabled) The repro steps are fairly simple: - Uninstall MMA - Delete contents of /MediaMonkey folder on the device - Install/run new build (and assign permissions if on Lollipop/Marshmallow) --> library is empty (even though 'Choose library folders' is set correctly It looks to me as if a scan is never even initiated. I've replicated this on numerous devices/OS versions Debug log on Idol 3 (content on SD card): DKB5UYLJY6 Debug log on Nexus 5 (content on internal memory): V7HKAPUEOF (after visiting Tracks), 077SCIPLN0 (after visiting Choose Library folders) I've replicated on a Galaxy S3 (Kitkat) as well.
