Summary | 0013228: Playlists fail to sync to Sony Walkman (NWZ-E465)
Description | User reported that playlists fails to sync to Sony NWZ-E465 (both using MediaMonkey and Windows Media Player). User has to use Sony's "Media Go" app to sync the playlist. The device isn't MTP connected, but UMS connected with drive letter H:\ , that explains why PLA abstract playlist cannot be synced and why M3U is. According to findings here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=65973&start=15 the "Media Go" app sync PLA playlists, but the content of PLA playlist is actually M3U content. So the solution should be to sync the M3U with PLA extension (like Media Go does).

As finally found it is rather Sony's issue, "Media Go" also cannot sync playlist successfully, details here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=65973&p=422559#p422559 |
