| Description | As reported at http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=84975 , cancelling a sync operation can cause ratings metadata to be lost. If this is low-risk trivial to fix it should be included in 1.2.0 otherwise push to 1.2.1. Peke, can you verify whether this bug is reproducible? | ||||

I'll do more tests on larger number of files I'm guessing it will show where it happen. I agree with user that Cancel should be LONG press instead of TAP. |

I'm unable to replicate as described by user, on cancel all is reverted as it should before sync. Re-assigning to Rusty in case user suggestion of long press to cancel should be considered for 1.2.1 |

Unless there's a bug re. synchronization I don't see a need to have a button that behaves in a special manner since it's trivial for the user to just press the sync button again. |

Re-opening. Peke just indicated that he still needs to complete testing on this with 400+ tracks and pressing cancel immediately after initiating sync. |

Tested with large number of files only downside of clicking Cancel is that Update is reverted back to original one and not updated. Syncing again set ratings. |

As confirmed by Marek canceling sync should not interfere metadata update as it is handled during prepare stage. |
