Summary | 0013681: It's difficult to view artwork details of multiple tracks in MM5
Description | There's no way to easily tell what images are associated with a set of tracks nor how they are saved/tagged. In MM4, the user could select track1, view properties, and then click an Arrow to advance track by track to see all images and check the Artwork Properties (although that view still had an annoyance that required hovering over the image to see exactly where it was saved). In MM5, the user must right click a track > Properties > Artwork _for_each_and_every_track!! There are a couple of ways to alleviate this: 1) Add back the arrows 2) Modify the Albums, A&D, and NP windows so that: - when multiple images exist for an album, the A&D display cycles through them Item 2) would help solve the problem, though not completely, so both could be fixed. 3) Indicate in Properties where the images are saved (to avoid the need to hover on the images).

Related issue 0013225 (dockable Properties window) would also help in this. |
|
I agree that the dockable Properties window would fix this. Decreasing priority of this and increasing 0013225. Leaving this open for item 3), as it might be useful to show detailed info without the need to hover. That said, I'd prefer to show less detailed information by default. So maybe we could have a switch [ ] Details, cycling between: a) a 2D grid of images, without any details. b) a listview of images on the left and details on the right. |
