Summary | 0014313: Playback fails (regression build 718)
Description | When I try to play tracks in build 718, playback fails. Here's how I tested: 1) re-synced a bunch of playlists using build 716 2) updated to 718 3) turned on car, device connected to BT (state=STOP) and attempted play tracks via device --> NP Art screen appears blank, nothing plays (MMA NP list is empty)! Log ID: YLYJUSX2FS 4) turned off car (and hence BT connection). Attempted to play again --> same result! Log ID: 4H7L8FGQ9Q 5) Attempt to play the same track in Google Play music --> it works! 6) Wait 10 minutes and attempt to play tracks again in MMA (no BT) --> Playback works as expected Log ID: BCB2TFMB14

I've been able to replicate this with further testing. Key to replicating the problem is: 1) Establish a bluetooth connection 2) Do not initiate playback of tracks in the NP queue--instead play new tracks (e.g. via the Playlist or Tracks node). Note: the easiest way to replicate is to delete all tracks from the NP list prior to establishing the BT connection. |

Verified 719 NOTE: for testing steps from 0014313:0048405 were crucial as in case NP is full and you start playback either before BT connection or after connection is established bug can't be replicated in 718. |
