Summary | 0014488: Main menu random reactions to mouse click
Description | The main menu reacts strangely to mouse clicks, sometimes it correctly open or close the menu, sometimes it does both in a single click. It seems to be more severe in the skins without the native frame, but it reproducible in any skin.

I can still reproduce as originally described, e.g. 1. Click Help main menu item -> nothing happens(!) or 1. Click Help, while its menu is already open -> the menu is item (correct), but immediately shown again(!) |

I can still reproduce. It seems that the main reason (not sure if the only one) is that skins that place menu to the windows frame (e.g. Material Design) also allow window dragging where the main menu is. I suppose that if we prevent this, this issue might get away as well. |

Definitely better now, just: a) Sometimes a click (e.g. on 'View') results in menu open and immediate close. Note that state it properly preserved, as mouse move to another item (e.g. Play) results in menu being opened! b) Doubleclick on menubar results in window Maximization (MD skin). |

This issue still occurs in 2095 as follows: 1 Open the main menu > submenu > submenu and move the cursor off the menu so that the entire menu collapses 2 click the menu --> it opens and closes. always. The only way to get MM out of this state is to open the main menu > submenu > submenu and then the main menu starts behaving normally again. |
