Summary | 0014506: Node deletion is broken / inconsistent
Description | If the user selects a node and then uses the Delete function, it often fails or works incorrectly: 1) For Artist, Album Artist, Artist & Album Artist: It seems to either delete none of the contained tracks or only one of them. 2) For Genre: Instead of deleting the tracks, it edits them by removing the Genre! I haven't verified every single node, but in general, selecting a node and using the delete function should cause the tracks contained within the node along with the node itself to be deleted. 3) The only exception to this would be Playlists where the intent could be either: a) To remove the playlist (and leave the content)--this is what MMA currently does, but the UI isn't really clear about it. b) To remove the playlist and delete its contents. This is a lower priority, but to make this clear, MMA could offer: Delete playlist -------------------------- Selected: 1 playlist (o) Delete playlist ( ) Delete playlist and tracks ----------------------------
