| Description | 1. MM5 currently doesn't auto-convert to a format streamable by Chromecast - either MP4 or WebM. This should be implemented as a part of 0013277 (probably WebM support). Note that currently even simple UPnP video playback from MM5 to MMA doesn't usually work well, so this implementation would be beneficial even there. (Michal) 2. Chromecasting from MM5 should be tested, currently seems to be broken at least for videos (0014529). (Ludek) 3. MMA is already able to stream MM5 UPnP based content to Chromecast, so when 1. is implemented, it should work fine for video playback. That said, we should review whether all the use-cases work fine. For example, when a playback is started by MM5, I suppose that MMA should be able to manage it later, i.e. handle Play/Pause, add new tracks to the queue, etc. (Martin) 4. Advanced features, like subtitles support, should be also evaluated in order to complete the full Chromecast support. | ||||
