| Description | Feedback from multiple sources indicates that the current functionality is slightly confusing, partially because there's too much functionality and partially because there are too many concepts introduced unecessarily. The following minor text changes/tweaks are recommended: -Remove the 'Copy Manually' entry from the combo-bar -Change 'Synchronize' to 'Auto-Synchronize' -Change 'Copy Automatically' to 'Synchronize Selected' in the combo-bar -In the options panel, change 'Portable Device' to 'Portable Device Synchronization' (since these settings only apply for Synch and Copy Automatically functions--as they're called today) -In the options panel, change 'Synchronization' to 'Auto-Synchronization' (same goes for the title in the associated dialog). -In the current 'Portable Devices' Options panel, change 'If unspecified, copy tracks to:' to 'Synchronize tracks to:' -In the current 'Synchronization' options panel, change 'Delete tracks on device not in synchronization list' to 'Delete tracks not selected for synchronization from the device' | ||||

Everything was fixed as specced, however, I have to request a minor change: 1) 'Delete tracks not selected for synchronization from the device' --> 'Delete tracks that aren't on the Auto-Synchronization List from the device' and 2) 'Automatically start synchronization when device is connected' --> 'Auto-Synchronize as soon as the device is connected' (since this functionality only makes sense for Auto-Synchronization) 3) Question: Don't the last 5 checkbox items refer solely to Auto-Synchronzation (and not manual Synchronization)? If so, would it make sense to use a border around them headlined with 'Auto-Synchronization Settings'. |
