Summary | 0014843: Tracklist clears itself when track edits cause any track in the view to no longer match the view criteria | ||||
Description | I observed this behavior in issue 1 at 0014385 with a different usecase, but based on conversation with Petr, that particular issue is not what was fixed by that bug. Here's a different way to replicate that problem: 1 Go to Files to Edit > Duplicate titles 2 Delete a track 3 Play a different track --> list is cleared!! I just triggered this a different way as well: 1 In Files to edit > Duplicate titles select a track and FMFS Album 2 In the Album view, delete all the tracks in that album 3 Go 'Back' to the Files to edit > Duplicate titles view --> The list is empty!! |
OK, I've figured it out, anytime an edit is made that causes a track in the view to no longer be in the view (e.g. because it's deleted or because it no longer matches the view criteria) then the tracklist is completely cleared! e.g. 1 Go to Music > Ratings > 5 stars 2 Change the rating of a track to 4 stars --> view is cleared! |
Another example that seems to imply that the bug is a bit different than what I'd suggested: 1 Select a bunch of tracks in an album 2 Right-click Auto-tag 3 In the auto-tag dialog, play one of the tracks --> All the contents of the auto-tag dialog disappear!! |
