Not sure whether UI restart is needed for codec pack? By default the UI is reloaded for all scripts (as mostly JS needs re-load), but we could add a param to disable UI reload (e.g. in case of codec pack)? |

Almost fixed in build 2112. It currently allows immediate app. restart like in MM4 using button in dialog and there is fix in UI reload handling (it was called always). Assigning to Petr to improve app restart on demand, it is currently too aggressive and does not stop application carefully. |
