I'm also seeing this problem consistently with NX5 / Android 8.1: 1) Sync via USB (MMA not running) 2) Disconnect USB 3) Run MMA --> sync update isn't automatically performed (i.e. library isn't updated) 4) Check for new/changed media --> mediastore sync update occurs in MMA --> Library appears to update partially (playlists + tracks, but missing some metadata (e.g. ratings)) LOG ID: LJQCYWJY3U This occurs consistently (5 times), although on one occasion on a subsequent restart of MMA (after deleting a video), MMA spontaneously completed a mediasync update and ratings metadata appeared. |

So, usb sync was not executed in the log, two cases are possible since that time : 1) The file "mmstore.db.synced.XXXX" was not created. -> The file does not exist in folder MediaMonkey/files -> additional metadata like ratings is not synced. 2) The file "mmstore.db.synced.XXXX" was created, but no event received. It means: a) Usb sync was executed later - the file does not exists, but ratings are synced b) Usb sync wasn't executed, missing ratings, but the file exists in the folder. Can you replicate it? Can you confirm one of this possible scenario? |
