Summary | 0015174: Auto-tagging takes huge or infinite amount of time
Description | When auto-tagging 15 tracks (each from a different album), it can take MM ~5minutes to complete the lookup operation. When auto-tagging 205 tracks, it takes an infinite amount of time (so far I've waited 12+ hours and there's no progress. I've attached a debug log illustrating this. It shows: 0 Lookup 205 tracks 1 Wait 12+ hours 2 Cancel out of Auto-tag dialog --> Podcast update operation is happening in the background (could this be causing the problem?) 3 Attempt to close MM5 --> elog generated ID 46CBD6C8 (however it isn't saved to the elog directory so I'm not sure if it was sent) 4 MM must be force-closed Note: I did not initiate playback for this set of tests to rule out a relationship to 0015158
Additional Information | Note: I think that this is different than 0015170 because that issue resulted in a freeze of the lookup process which seems to occur if playback is occurring concurrently. BUT, they might have the save underlying cause.
