Already fixed in the past. Bit depth is displayed in Track properties - Details tab for all files, where it makes sense and is detected, like FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF or APE. |

I verified against all formats that support multiple bit depth you are right. I got confused as like user I expected that both Bit depth column and properties show on MP3 show 16Bit eg. to be filled with 16 Bit value automatically. Also it wouldn't that make things easier for Search? |

It would be misleading, MP3 is not 16bit, it is compressed format, which does not include information about bit depth of its samples, audio is quantized there. It is completely on decoder, whether it decodes MP3 to 16bit PCM or 24bit PCM, etc., the file itself does not contain this info. |
