Summary | 0015352: Auto-organize Monitor: MMW reports unorganized tracks for thracks that ar e already organized
Description | Per user report and confirmation during remote session User have multiple Auto Organize mask for collections in his library that are working correctly and organize tracks in realtime as designed by MMW. Problem arise if user tries using Files to edit -> Unorganized Tracks to check is some files are not organized. Instead of that MMW report all tracks are Organized it reports all tracks in users library as unorganized. Using steps to check unorganized tracks it is confirmed that tracks are organized according to Auto-Organize mask and that they do not need Auto Organize. Further analyze shows that either Auto-Organize mask or Manual Auto-Organize fail to recognize that tracks are organized correctly which result in Error dialog for each track user try to manually organized assuming that Files to edit -> Unorganized tracks shows correct results. Steps from remote session are listed below, user supplied log we generated during remote session and his MM.DB
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Load MMW 2. wait toll Auto Organize finish on startup check and organize non organized tracks 3. Go to Music -> Files To Edit -> Unorganized tracks (which list 7944 tracks eg. all tracks in Music collection) 4. Select few tracks -> Right click -> Auto Organize (where results shows that no organize is needed) and cancel dialog. 5. Went to Options -> Library -> Auto Organize -> Edit Organize mask for Music Collection 6. Copy Auto-Organize mask 7. Selected several tracks from Unorganized list -> Right click -> Auto Organize 8. in Destination Mask Paste copied mask and MMW shows that files needs to be Organized (highlighted in Yellow) 9. Analyzing path and filename it is determined that they looks same but OK is enabled so that MMW can organized affected tracks 10. Clicking on OK Error dialog is shown that File already exists and Auto-Organize fail 11. Files are still showing in Unorganized tracks In Order to confirm destination paths for Other Auto-Organize masks are checked that they do not point to path or sub paths in Music collection Organize mask
