Summary | 0015427: Toast messages sometimes appear partway offscreen
Description | I'm not sure what the trigger of this is, but I've noticed that toast messages (e.g. when using Powerscroll) appear on the right margin of the screen instead of more centrally. I would suggest that all toast messages should appear consistently e.g. centrally above the player.

This was the purpose to indicate that the power-scroll is being performed within the "Now Playing" view and not the central view. So maybe just the vertical position should be adjusted to the bottom of the "Now Playing" list ? Similarly when power scroll is performed on the "Media Tree" then the toast message is on the left. |

The intended design seems reasonable. The problem is that powerscrolling on the main tracklist in certain 'Browser' views causes the toast to appear in the lower right corner: 1 Navigate to Music > Genres > Rock > Rock 2 Sort by Artist 3 Select a track 4 Type ArtistName --> Toast appears in the lower right corner I know that this does occur with Genre, but that it doesn't occur with Year, so I'm not sure what the specific trigger is. EDIT: on 2 occasions, after testing this, MM has frozen on exit. Here's a log ID: 370E630D |

I cannot seem to replicate, which view you had selected in the genre Rock ? Was it 'Browser View' , 'Art view', 'List View' or 'Album & Tracks' ? Any sub-view enabled? Could you attach a screenshot / screencast ? |

It's in Browser view. Have a look at this video: https://www.screencast.com/t/7mrxXgdHW3G |

Thanks, it happens in 'Browser view', but only when 'List View' is selected in the "Top Tracks" section. I had 'Simplified list' view there (therefore I couldn't repro) => Fixed in 2157 |
