Summary | 0015562: UI shows casting as disabled even when enabled
Description | If the Chromecast is set as the default player and the user isn't playing anything --> Chromecast icon isn't highlighted! (it should be highlighted so that the user is aware that playback location isn't local--before playback starts). Note: the suggestion above is also consistent with how the casting indicator works n MMA (although on MMA, casting to a device becomes disabled if the user stops playback).

Small test question. When I play to Nexus player and Stop/Pause Playback for some time (around 10-15 Minutes) Nexus player put itself into Screen Saver mode and connection to MM5 is lost and need re-connection and takes several more seconds to restart playback even Icon stays active. Is this desired behavior or? |
|
I suppose that during that time MM5 shows "Connecting to Nexus player..." on the player, right? I think that icon should be active whenever a remote playback is configured, i.e. also after MM5 restart (as the last configured player is restored/persistent after restart) to indicate that remote playback is set. |

Exactly that was the case. verified 2168 |
