Summary | 0015706: Find Moved/Missing fails for some files
Description | I'm not sure why this is the case, but for certain files, the Find Moved/Missing functionality fails to find the moved tracks (even though other tracks are found, and even though the missing tracks exist in substantially the same location on the drive. See in the attached log, many tracks are found in new locations, but the following ones aren't even though some of them do exist. Of the ones that weren't found, the two by Stick Figure should have been found: Disconnected by the Goo Goo Dolls (doesn't exist - FLAC) Low by R.E.M (doesn't exist - FLAC) Achashverosh by Schlock Rock (doesn't exist - moved to a completely different path) In This Love by Stick Figure (DOES EXIST!) Shadow by Stick Figure (DOES EXIST!) A.K.A. Pella by What does Haman Say? (doesn't exist - moved to a completely different path) Dernière by Yann Tiersen (doesn't exist - FLAC) Debug log posted to ftp

With the custom .exe, when I selected all files in [Data]\My Documents\Temp and attempted to find them in D:\My Documents\Temp, 4 of the unlocatable filse weren't found even though they do exist in the searched location (verified manually in Explorer). What's interesting is that the files that couldn't be found were different than previously?! |
Here's another log with the same set of files as in the original report. What's strange is that in the first log with the custom build (above), the songs by Stick Figure _were_ found?! |
Retested with 2223 and I'm unable to replicate. If the debug logs don't reveal the root cause, then feel free to close. |
Isn't it possible you've modified that files outside of MM ? |
The files had been copied from an old computer's disk to a new computer's disk (that's why Find/Moved and missing had to be used and also why you see the strange 'old' paths for some of the files without a drive letter). |
Resolving as we're unable to reproduce and log didn't help to find the root of the problem. |
I am also unable to replicate this at 2262 also. |

Unable to replicate in 2262. |
