| Summary | 0015787: Video Playback: Decoding x265 MKV using System Codec looses frames on playback | ||||
| Description | When x265 (720p) is played in MM5 it looses frames and playback is not smooth but very choppy. Same video in other players play without any issues. Video Recording sent offline. NOTE: I have High End PC that is capable to Play 4K x265 HDR10 Videos without to sweat. | ||||

As worked offline, problem arises with CP and Subtitles for some files. eg. when subtitles are enabled that video gets choppy and when CP is not installed Subtitles fail to render (need separate bug). There is no enough info what exactly cause it but when it happens these steps fix it till M5 is restarted or next few restarts. 1. Disable Subtitles 2. Restart MM5 3. Start Playback 4. Enable subtitles |
