Summary | 0015941: Auto-tag: recommends album artist from the next track for the current track
Description | In the most recent MM5 test build, I noticed a strange error in which changing the recommended Album --> the recommended Album Artist is that belonging to the next track in the list. 1 Select several tracks from the tracklist (non-contiguous--tracks beginning with I that are missing artwork from the folder Top 100 tracks of the 80s) 2 Initiate auto-tag 3 Review the selected tracks making changes to a couple of them 4 When changing the Album for Title: I Love Rock and Rock --> Proposed Album Artist is Donna Lewis (Artist/Album Artist of the next track) -- some sort of off by one error (note one one occasion, it recommended 'I Ran' (title from 2 tracks ahead) so the bug might be more complex) . This error occurs consistently with the trackset used. https://www.screencast.com/t/XuA2qD0F Debug logs posted to ftp.

Note: I can replicate this consistently with an abridged set of steps: 0 Initiate Auto-tag a set of tracks 1 Change the recommended album for a track to a different album 2 Change the recommended album to a single 3 Change the recommended album to the original value --> Recommended Album Artist is that of a different track! |
