Summary | 0015961: Auto-tag: many tracks shown as having conflicts (regression 2198)
Description | In build 2198, I've noticed that many tracks have fields that appear with an '!' even though the recommended field is identical to the original. Sample tracks (shared with Petr): Bad - Wale ft. Tiara Thomas Let me Love You - Ne-Yo

Here's a video (and associated debug log) illustrating the problems: https://www.screencast.com/t/8oBijgqrm7g |

It looks same, but it's different ... for example Ne-Yo. Original name is non-unicode plain ASCII Ne-Yo. But value received from MusicBrainz server doesn't contain ASCII character '-' but values E2 80 90. Problem is i cannot remove non-ASCII characters, because i need to be able to compare unicode names as well (like Hebrew). |

The first issue is fixed in 2201. The second issue isn't fixable since there's no way to know that the two different characters are the same. |
