Summary | 0001598: Ability to update cover art for ALL tracks on an Album
Description | As reported in the forums, users are finding it difficult to update Album Art since they have to do so on a track by track basis. Two suggestions to fix this: 1) Allow users to edit Album Art via the Album Properties dialog. When they do so, they are shown the standard Album Art editing tab, however, the changes are automatically applied to the entire album. 2) When the user edits Album Art via the standard properties dialog, prompt the user with 'Would you like to apply the new Album Art to all tracks on this Album? [[Yes]] [No]' Note: I believe that the second implementation is critical, and the first could be a nice-to-have that's much less useful/critical.

per discussion: [x] Apply to all tracks in this Album with appear instead of a popup dialog. The checkbox will be shown only when user edits a single track, not for multi-track editing. |

Fixed in build 809. |

Tested in 809, and although it works correctly via the properties panel, there's no way to apply the artwork to multiple tracks via the Album Art dialog window. I understand the argument that you made in 0001605, however, for this particular issue the user really should not be forced to go to the properties dialog each time they want to edit the art for all tracks in an Album. |
|
Fixed in build 811. - User can now select to update all album tracks according to the one that the new image is added to. |

Verified in 811--this works correctly for _adding_ images, however, removing images behaves slightly differently than add images. Tracking this in a new bug. |
