Summary0016208: Track deletion sometimes fails to refresh the view
DescriptionThere are some cases in where deleting tracks fails to remove them from the view (there may be others).

1) Podcasts: navigate to Subscription > PodcastName , click the overflow button and unsubscribe & delete
--> the podcast remains in the view so it appears that the operation failed (though navigating Up to Subscriptions shows that the operation succeeded)

2) Devices & Services > Google Pixel 2 > Music [List], select a few folders and press DELETE
--> the tracks remain in view so it appears that the operation failed (though subsequently refreshing shows they were deleted)

I would suggest that after track deletion it might be worth refreshing the view _without repositioning it_ (so users do not lose their current context).

1) this could happen also for sub-playlists deeper in hierarchy when they were not navigated via media tree and "Playlists" node was collapsed.
=> Fixed in 2223

2) I don't see any folders when I am in Device > Music [List] view, see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2zldk5ssa190ft2/Screenshot%202020-01-24%2014.11.15.png?dl=0
So I don't understand the steps to reproduce, can you clarify?

2) I suspect that I mis-typed and meant to say that I deleted tracks. On this occasion when I tried to do so MediaMonkey crashed. Crashlog 225DD6C8. Steps were:
1 Plug in device
2 Open Devices & Services > Google Pixel 2 > Music [Column Filter]
3 Select AC/DC track and DELETE
--> endless hourglass / fails to delete
4 Select another AC/DC track & rename it, and then delete it
--> crash

It's possible that this is a completely diffrent issue.

OK, I fixed the original (refresh) issue where the list was not updated in Devices & Services > Google Pixel 2 > Music [List] , i.e. it looked like failed track deletion.
=> Fixed in 2224

As for the crash -- I cannot replicate and the crashlog 225DD6C8 probably has failed to submit?
So please re-test in 2224 and generate new crash log (in case the crash still happens).

The refresh issues seems to be resolved in 2224.

I opened a new bug for the crash caused by deletion of tracks from a USB-connected device.
