Summary | 0016358: Artwork: Covers without saved artwork show artwork as 'Stored in tag'
Description | 1 Navigate to Music > Albums 2 Find an Album (preferably one with only a single track as that's the simplest case) with a 'Save' icon superimposed (denoting that artwork is cached but not saved) and click the 'save button' --> Add cover dialog opens 3 Place cursor on the image to see it's characteristics --> Resolution is shown + 'Stored in tag' !! 4 Close the dialog without saving 5 Open the track and view Properties > Artwork --> Artwork Properties confirms that the image is 'Not saved image' Aside: the 'Not saved image' should be changed to 'Unsaved image'

Here's another case of this issue: https://www.screencast.com/t/wcCCh2qR When the user updates the artwork (e.g. via Lookup), the dialog indicates the image's status as already having been updated even though it hasn't: 1 Select a track with Artwork 2 Go to Properties > Artwork tab --> Artwork appears with 'Stored in tag' as expected 3 Click lookup, and save an image to the tag --> New artwork appears with 'Stored in tag'!! 4 Press cancel (to cancel out of the properties dialog) 5 Go back to Properties > Artwork tab --> the new artwork is missing even though it had appeared with 'Stored in tag' The bug is that at step 3, the status shouldn't have been shown as 'Stored in tag'. Status could instead show something like: Unsaved |
