Summary | 0016462: Combine 'Advanced tag management' and 'Edit tags'
Description | Peke suggested that these be combined. Even though the tag management functions are slightly different, I think it makes sense since: - both related to tag edit functions - it makes the context menu more consistent with the toolbar menu The way this might work is that 'Edit tags' should have a line below the current tag editing functions for the tag management functions (consistently in all locations). i.e. Auto-increment Track #s Swap Artist and Title ------------------------------- Clean ID3v1 tags... Clean ID3v2 tags... Clean ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags... OR Auto-increment Track #s Swap Artist and Title ------------------------------- Advanced Tag Management > Not sure if this is feasible for 5.0 (i.e. will it cause problems for extension writers to include property-editing functionality in the menu)--leaving for Ludek to triage.

Maybe we can use "Type" from info.json so that it is clear where it belongs? |
|
Even though the first section is more 'metadata' related, while the second is technical for mp3s only, is probably makes sense to merge them. The first option sounds fine to me. |

Merged them as suggested in 2238 |

Verified 2238. |
