| Description | File > Create Reports currently contains a mix of - library Report & library Playlists. These belong in the File section (since it's associated with the entire library), but calling them both 'Reports' is a misnomer - File lists associated with selected files. These don't really 'fit' in this section, and take up too many menu entries. Suggested changes: 1) Create Reports --> Export 2) Export all Playlists... --> All Playlists... i.e. Export --> Statistics... --> All Playlists... 3) Move the File List (HTML)/(XML)/(CSV) options to Send to > Send to --> .... --> M3U/XPSF Playlist --> File list... (a single dialog can allow the user to choose the format) | ||||

Fixed in build 2508. Also fixed bug i XML export (missing some items in export). |

Verified 2508 All move to suggested places and renamed. Can you please check if there is some Strings changes that needs translation updates, I looked but I do not see there is a need? |

Based on feedback from LL I'd suggest a couple of tweaks so that the reports functionality isn't hidden/missing: 1) Tweak the File Menu structure as follows: a) Reports > Statistics... > File list... (this should be added back since there's currently no way to get a report of the entire Library. It should allow the user to choose html/csv/xml within the dialog (as is implemented for Send to > Report (File list...) ). Export > Playlists... b) Change Send to > File list... --> Report (File list...) (note: use existing/separate strings) Note: the only suggestion not included here is that the menu should include a separate output option for each of csv/html/xml--this approach is burdensome / makes the menu too busy / and is very old school (an output format selector is standard for most types of output/export dialogs today). |

Fixed in build 2509. Added also support for exporting entire library when no track is selected and export of files from some collection, if node in this collection is selected. |
