Summary | 0016941: Multi-monitor + resolution change causes dragging of the MM window to fail | ||||
Description | If the user runs MM and changes the monitor environment / resolution, then it's no longer possible to drag the MM Window: 1 Set laptop to 'Duplicate' screens 2 Launch MM (not maximized) 3 Drag title bar --> MM window moves correctly 4 WINDOW-R > Extend --> MM (along with all other apps remain on the laptop screen, albeit at lower resolution) 5 Attempt to drag MM via the title bar --> MM won't drag! (note: resize works) 6 WINDOW-R > Duplicate --> MM (along with all other apps appear on both screens, but the monitor screen's resolution is reduced) 7 Attempt to drag MM via the title bar --> MM won't drag! 8 Close the laptop screen (which causes the second screen to change to a higher resolution) 9) Attempt to drag MM via the title bar --> MM window moves correctly Note: if the user changes the monitor environment / resolution prior to running MM, then this bug doesn't occur. i.e. the issue seems to be related to changing the monitor setup & resolution while MM is running.
