As requested DS plugin acts same |
Reproduced by these steps: 1) disable all but one sound devices 2) start playback 3) disable the enabled device and enable it again 4) double-click next file |
Note for above, to disable sound/audio devices use Device manager (Right click on Start button -> Device manager -> Sound and Video Devices -> Right click on Device -> Disable). You can check if device is really disabled by Right click on Speaker icon in tray -> open sound settings -> related settings (on right) -> Sound Control Panel -> Playback devices Tab -> Right click on devices list and enable showing both disabled and Disconnected devices. Reason for this is that if you disable device in Device manager it should not be listed there as device manager disables device on OS Kernel level not just disabling app access to device. |
Another iteration case here Sound Card ID gets lost and MM crashes. 1. Set windows output to BT speakers/headphones 2. Play some music 3a. Get out of range/turn of speaker 3b. Pause music so that speaker/headphones gets into sleep mode 4. try to restart playback or play next track |
Fixed in build 2269. Note, that some changes in sound card settings could cause stopping playback, it is expected. But it should not crash. |
Verified 2269 Unable to replicate initial long standing problem, left as resolved to see if fix is stable enough and no regressions are introduces after some days of use. |
Re verified 2270 No regressions found after 10 days of constant use. |
