Summary | 0017316: Allow customization of Monkey Groove skin highlight color
Description | User suggested having a customizable accent color for Monkey Groove. Since M.G. has such a simple color palette, I think it's certainly feasible, and would be a nice feature. Can be done with setRuntimeLessValues(). The only thing that would require extra dev time would be making a color picker. We wouldn't want to force the user to type in raw hex values, so we should have some sort of color picker dialog.

It that going to irritate off other skin makers? If development time is required, the best thing would something generic wouldn't it? See conversation starting here: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=480708#p480708 |

That is the plan! I haven't spent much time on it yet, but the plan is to create a Color Picker control and attempt to make the runtimeLessValues operation more robust, so that skin makers can use the same technique to make THEIR skins customizeable as well. After all, it'd be much cleaner to release one skin with different color themes / customizeable options than it would be to release multiple different versions, each with different colors. |
