| Description | If the user is running MM in french and searches for e.g. année:1975 --> MM returns no results (year:1975 works, though) This is problematic since translated tooltips will indicate that the user should use the translated version of the attribute. Note: Ideally, both the english and the translated search attributes should be usable. Test Note: I don't test in languages other than French and German. I only tested Year. This should be verified: - for a couple of languages for all supported search fields (to verify the functionality) - for all languages by verifying that the tooltips match the associated attributes (to verify that translation doesn't break the functionality for some languages/fields). | ||||

I tested Artiste:Floyd (and Artist:floyd) and both worked. So perhaps it's just a problem with the Year field? I also found that there are some discrepancies between the localized field names and the manner in which they're described in the Search tooltip. So we'll need to make sure that the search Tooltips match the attribute names correctly. |

Fixed in 2304. It was really a problem for Year and Date fields only. I don't think that it makes sense to fix this for MM4 too (not a critical issue). |
