Summary | 0017627: Tweak addon installation messages
Description | Currently (as of 5.0.0.2318) MMW displays the following messages after installing/uninstalling an addon: After installing: MediaMonkey will reload (which may terminate existing processes). Do you want to proceed? After uninstalling: Please restart MediaMonkey to finish the installation. 1) The terminology for installation was used because MM previously didn't restart after installing an addon. I would suggest that the uninstall message makes more sense in this case i.e. 'Please restart MediaMonkey to finish the installation.' [OK] [Cancel] (and if existing processes are underway, MM can pop up that dialog to warn the user) 2) The terminology for uninstallation currently refers to installation! It would be preferable to change the string to: 'Please restart MediaMonkey to complete the %s' Installation Removal

As the message of a need to "reload" is shown also on skin change then it cannot be 'Please restart MediaMonkey to complete the [Installation|Removal]'. But rather something more universal like: "MediaMonkey needs to be restarted to apply the changes" "Do you want to proceed?" [[Yes]][No] ? |
