If users use sample scripts that we maintain like ShowLinks and they get updated in next MM build then they should be auto Updated during install on new MM version. Reason is to avoid issues like 0017920:0063513 | ||||

I think that this issue contradicts the issues 0017131 , 0017860 i.e. Sample scripts should be moved to addons site ( 0017131 ) and extracted version os SampleScripts is for learning purposes ( 0017860 ) As Rusty wrote in 0017860:0063234 : "To re-iterate the plan described at 0017131: Samplescripts are included in this directory because developer documentation references them--they're not meant for users to install. Any samplescripts that are intended for users should be available and updated via the addons site." => Resolving as "no change required" |
